November & December News
Greetings all !
The threshold has been crossed - and a new season approaches. I’m hoping you all had a marvelous Samhain, celebrating Old Hallo’s Eve and the spirits of our ancestors in your own unique ways.
This past month saw me journeying to and from England!
Please enjoy this music video I recorded on the Landmark Trust’s Lundy Island (Devon, England) celebrating my life long relationship with this timeless place! I hope you can watch this on a larger screen so you can also appreciate the Island’s wonder.
The Farley String Band is on break in November, while my busy time has just begun!
November 15 & 16 is the Old Deerfield Holiday Sampler at the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, MA. I’ll be there with my troubadour harp, strolling the fair with some holiday carols, if you don’t catch me leading interactive crafts at the children and family of all ages craft area.
November 28th is Moonlight Magic in Shelburne Falls, during which I’ll be at the Buckland Recreational Fair 4pm to 8pm at the Buckland Town Hall. Pop in for some more musical atmosphere between riding Trolley Number 10 and walking the Bridge of Flowers!
November 30th I’m returning to the Trinitarian Congregational Church in Northfield MA to join them in celebrating the Advent season. All are welcome.
Now, a quick nod to December!
I’ll be beginning rehearsals with the Valley Players this month, as I wear "my other hat" to costume their Radio Play “It’s a Wonderful Life” at the Blue Heron in Sunderland MA. Tickets are already selling so follow this link to make your reservations if you’re interested. —> https://valleyplayers.org
Throughout December I will be at the Boltwood Inn, Amherst MA, for their Holiday High Teas on Saturdays. More on the seatings and to make your reservations (they get booked up very quickly!) follow this link. —> https://www.30boltwood.com/events/holiday-tea
Also in December, I begin rehearsals in the orchestra for Arena Civic Theater’s performances of “The Wizard of Oz” that will be at the Academy of Music in Northampton. Performances are in January (15-18, 22-25) so more on this next month!
Stay Well and Stay Tuned!
